Maybe it is close to what I call consistency where one lives in consistency with their values. I try for that. It easier now that I am retired. Corporate life requires compromises, a lot of compromises.
I like how you talk about coherence is a powerful force for good. Lasers are coherent light. Not quite the same thing but coherent light is much more powerful than just regular light.
Andrea I think you need to hear this: Everything is going to be ok. We live in a culture in which we feel it necessary to put very specific labels or ascribe very esoteric qualities to this phenomenon of Government before we can be ok. Before we can let it be and be ok in our lives. Let's remove that interim step. Let's just let it be whatever it is over there and be ok over here. Govt is weird and always has been. Most people go into politics because they are not right. Don't think you need to get that mess into some certain shaped box to be ok. Its going through a long slow pendulum arc. The important liberties will persist. We don't have to allow govt to rent space in our brains. We don't have to let that weird 😭 uncle live in the attic.
I'm not left or right. The sky is not falling and you will be ok. I say this only because you have expressed news/govt anxiety, so I hope this does not feel unsolicited or preachy.
